Hate to beat a dead horse, but like (almost) everyone else says, this is great. Probably the best youtube script for majority of folks, depending on what you want. Works well and regularly updated.

Pretty Much The Best YouTube Script , May 28, 2009
Review written by steveg - see all my reviews (1)

This is a well-maintained script that gives you a TON of control over YouTube. It does as much as 5 other scripts combined and then it does even more. It lets you change everything from the size/quality of videos to their autoplay/autodownload behavior. It adds (sharable) direct-download links, one for each video quality level. The size of a video can be changed without even having to stop it. It can even automatically press the "more" button in video descriptions for you. This is HIGHLY recommended for any YouTube user.

To configure it:

1) Go to YouTube and then right-click the Greasemonkey status bar icon
2) Go to User Script Commands... > YousableTubeFix Configuration

A window will come up with a all sorts of settings - more than I mentioned above.

BTW, most of the concerns addressed in previous reviews have already been fixed. As for speed, it's as fast as Greasemonkey (and your connection) allows it to be.

Fantastic script. Very robust code, works flawlessly and reliably. Professionally done, with a config ability. Does pretty much everything i wanted it to do (except provide shaded page for video viewing).

update: I highly recommend everyone who installs this script to also install the fantastic Youtube "Lights Out" script as well to improve viewing experience.

Very Awesome, But...... , Jan 22, 2009
Review written by Bj Boehm - see all my reviews (2)

I love this script, it's one of my most use scripts and without out it I feel I'm not even on youtube...when I go to my cousins and use his computer, and he has safari..I miss this script...ok..but. It could use baby improvements...ok one is a big one, I don't like that when I have the video setting on "best quality available" It goes to FLV HQ, which the sound is still mono and the video is barely better than .264, I only want my videos to be on low, .264 or .264 HQ, is that so much to ask. But that's more of a gripe...and I wish it was a tad faster, like pre read the xml before it loads the FLV low, then pops to .264 after like 3 seconds of video playing....I still love this script!!!!!!!

The perfect All-in-one YouTube script , Jan 2, 2009
Review written by Stephan Sokolow - see all my reviews (14)

Beautiful script. Does what it says without problems, includes a beautiful and easy-to-use config dialog, and has tons of desirable features. For example:

I used to use MTube to stretch my video window, but MPlayerPlug-in had a tendency to freeze up my Firefox when used with YouTube.

I tried several other scripts which could force high-quality video and prevent auto-play, but most of them were either glitchy, ugly, or interfered with Video DownloadHelper. (I prefer to use the same tool for all video sites)

I finally found this while looking for a script to turn off video captions and annotations and it was love at first sight.

I wish more scriptwrights would put this kind of care and effort into their work. It makes me kind of embarassed to have been too busy to either update or remove my own obsolete scripts.
